“TEDxWalledCity,an independently organized TED event”
TEDxWalledCity gave AuraVR the opportunity to be a part of an event where diversely minded people with great and unique ideas came together on a common platform to discuss and share views.
TEDxWalledCity focused on the Theme of “A Fair Chance”. Speakers with world changing ideas come together and inspired audience to spark deep discussion and connection. The event touched bases from sensitive issues like intolerance to various technical innovations and ideas for saving the environment.
The incredibly articulate and passionate Nandita Das shared her perception towards the need of an equal world specially when it comes to children. Neeraj Jain ( Chief Executive officer of WaterAid in India) focused on how important for a developing country like India is to treat its sewage for pure water. The Oscar wining director of “Among the Believers” through her powerful words and work forced us to think about that We can’t look ‘the other’ way when there is intolerance towards the other in society.
Along wit these TEDx also gave people chance to showcase their work and new ideas. We along with others got a chance to showcase our work and innovation. We were overwhelmed by the response received.
Everyone got a chance to experience the virtual reality, which was before just a theoretical concept for them. People were amazed to see the endless possibilities and how virtual reality can come handy in every field like education, entertainment and more. For many Virtual reality was something they never knew so it was a new world for them all together. An award winning documentary “Clouds Over Sidra”, The video of The Underwater World, and the Bike game became our highlight, which everyone loved. We were delighted to have such enthusiastic audience who were willing to experience AuraVR. Everyone appreciated the quality and our idea of making this technology available at such low cost.
Once again we would like to thanks TEDx for this opportunity and the audience for accepting AuraVR.
